MEET LISA VINCENT, AN EATING DISORDER & TRAUMA THERAPIST
It is time to believe you have better days ahead.
I’m so glad you’re here.
I’m Lisa and I help clients move beyond talk therapy to find balance, healing, and wholeness through a trauma-informed, nervous system focused approach.
With specialized training in eating disorder recovery, embodiment practices, and nervous system regulation, I support clients in understanding what’s underneath the patterns they feel stuck in - and gently shift out of survival mode.
Therapy is a space where you can show up exactly as you are - on the good days and the hard ones. Whether you’re processing deep, complex experiences or navigating the day to day stressors of life, this is a place where it’s all welcome.
Together, we will:
Explore your concerns and identify strengths and values
Develop skills that support lasting change and resilience
Work toward easing self-criticism and strengthening your healthy self
When you are facing self doubt, anxiety, or life transitions, you don’t have to do it alone. My role is to help you navigate what feels overwhelming and make space for healing, growth, and clarity.
If you’re ready to show up for yourself and explore meaningful change, let’s talk.
I provide telehealth therapy for clients located in Michigan and Georgia.
Approach to Therapy
My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, relational, and grounded in nervous system regulation & self-compassion. Together we slow things down, build safety, and make space to understand why certain patterns developed - without shame or judgement.
Healing isn’t about “fixing” yourself. It’s about strengthening your healthy self, learning to respond to your needs with care, and reconnecting with your values so you can live with more ease and intention.
Therapy with me is collaborative and grounded. I believe healing happens in relationship - when you feel heard, understood, and supported at your own pace. My role is to walk alongside you, offering guidance, tools, and space to explore what’s been heavy, while also helping you build resilience and self-trust.
You deserve support that honors your whole experience. With the right care, it’s possible to feel more grounded, connected, and like yourself again.
When you’re ready, I’d be honored to support you.
core values that guide my practice
These values guide my work as an eating disorder and trauma therapist serving teens & adults in Michigan & Georgia.
Authenticity & Integrity
I show up as a real, grounded human in the therapy space. Healing happens when you don’t feel like you need to perform, impress, or have it all figured out.
Compassionate Presence
Your experience makes sense in the context of what you’ve lived through. Therapy is a place where shame softens and curiosity replaces self-criticism.
Nervous System-Informed Care
Lasting healing requires safety - both in the therapy relationship and within your nervous system. We focus on regulation, resilience, and restoring a sense of safety in both mind & body.
Relational Connection
Healing happens in relationship. I believe feeling seen, understood, and supported is foundational to meaningful change.
